Born in Canada and raised in the Bahamas, Noah Waterous grew up between two contrasting landscapes: the sandy shorelines of the islands and the snow-covered mountains of the Northeast. These environments shaped his fascination with the ways people interact with the natural world and the temporary marks they leave behind.

Working with sand and quartz, Waterous creates sculptural works that preserve footprints, handwritten messages, drawings, and other traces of human presence that would otherwise disappear. By transforming these fleeting moments into lasting form, he invites viewers to reflect on memory, place, and the connections we form through the landscapes we inhabit.

Waterous's work is held in private collections internationally and is currently displayed at Four Seasons Ocean Club in the Bahamas and Four Seasons Whistler in Canada. He is represented by Whistler Contemporary Gallery.
